The first service (Route B), operating between Dartford Station and Gravesend Garrick Street, is planned to commence operation in Spring 2006 when a new £15m section of track between Dartford Station and Bluewater becomes available.

Construction of the new track is being funded with public money from the Department for Transport through Kent County Council’s Local Transport Plan. Works started in September 2004– for more details of the scheme and construction works click here.

A second Fastrack service (Route A) between Dartford Station, Greenhithe Station and Bluewater via a major new development called "The Bridge" located on the site of the former Joyce Green hospital is expected to commence in Autumn 2006.

This Fastrack service will form the principal transport access to the new development and be paid for by the developer. It will serve the earliest residential development which at this stage will be confined to the western end of the site. For more details of the development click here.
