Route B diversion to serve Ingress Park

A service change will take place once a new section of busway has been completed.  The first phase of construction is complete, linking Greenhithe Station with the boundary of the Ingress Park development.

In January 2010 an opening date of 3 May 2010 was agreed with Crest Nicholson, the developer responsible for delivering the second phase of construction of the busway.  Fastrack publicity, timetables and maps were produced to reflect that date.  However, subsequent unforeseen problems meant that substantial additional work was required, and a summer 2011 opening was expected.

Although the additional work is now almost complete unresolved issues mean that no date for opening has yet been set by Crest Nicholson.

Fastrack cannot begin to serve Ingress Park until both phases are complete.  Fastrack and Arriva regret this further delay to the start of services to Ingress Park but completion of the necessary work and resolution of outstanding issues is outside of our control.
