Around 2011 it is expected that a strategic east-west route through Eastern Quarry will be available (albeit in part using a temporary route via Alkerden Lane immediately to the north of the Quarry).

Route B now takes advantage of the new strategic east-west link to provide the core Fastrack route across Kent Thameside.

A new circular route (Route C) will commence operation, linking Bluewater and Greenhithe Station with the central major development sites (Eastern Quarry, and Ebbsfleet) plus Ingress Park and early development on the western side of Swanscombe Peninsula.

Parts of a second new route (Route D) linking the Riverside major development sites (Ingress Park, the western part of Swanscombe Peninsula, and Northfleet Embankment), are also likely to become available around this time, and Fastrack services will be adjusted to operate via the new infrastructure as and when appropriate.
